Employing Foreign Nationals – J-1

Rutgers Global – International Faculty and Scholar Services (IFSS) offers a virtual Employing Foreign Nationals – J-1 Introduction workshop for departmental administrators at Rutgers. This session will introduce participants to rules and procedures related to J-1 exchange visitor sponsorship and other legal statuses compatible with research and teaching positions and visiting appointments. It will also contain information on health insurance for J-1 visitors.

Through workshop completion, participants will consolidate familiarity and competency on rules, requirements, and policies related to J-1 Exchange Visitor Sponsorship based on US Federal Government Policy as well as internal Rutgers University Policy.
