Employing Foreign Nationals – H-1B

Rutgers Global – International Faculty and Scholar Services (IFSS) offers a virtual Employing Foreign Nationals – H-1B workshop for departmental administrators at Rutgers. This session will concentrate on the H-1B temporary worker visa category. Registrants must have attended “Basic Concepts” and “J-1 Introduction” workshops or have had prior experience processing J-1 visitor requests. Topics will include University policy on H-1B sponsorship, federal regulations affecting H-1B visa sponsorship and compliance requirements, travel restrictions, and a walk through the entire H-1B process on hiring an H-1B worker.

Through workshop completion, participants will consolidate familiarity and competency on rules, requirements, and policies related to H-1B Sponsorship based on US Federal Government Policy as well as internal Rutgers University Policy.
