
Advanced - Lifecycle of Research & Grants Administration
The Office for Research - Sponsored Programs Academy for Continuing Education (SPACE) offers a deep dive into pre- and post-award sponsored programs administration at Rutgers, with an added focus on budget preparation. This course is intended for managers, experienced administrators, and supervisors to develop a firm knowledge of Rutgers' policies and procedures, key internal controls, and the evolving regulatory landscape. Upon completion, participants will be able to assist with budget and proposal preparation and submission, and award management for all sponsors.

Earning Criteria
Required
In addition to previously completing the SPACE Training Fundamentals, participants must complete 3 modules (300-310).
This assessment is a combination of multiple choice and true/false questions, is open notes, and will require a passing score of 70%.
Participants for this course must have substantial knowledge and proven skills in the subject areas.
Maximum participation required.
Participants must be employed by Rutgers University.
