Academic Leadership Program - Rutgers Health (formerly ALP-RBHS)

The Academic Leadership Program - Rutgers Health (formerly ALP-RBHS) is a one-year program that provides a venue for faculty administrators (e.g., chairs, program directors) to examine and further develop their leadership, management, and organizational competencies with attention to current biomedical and health sciences challenges and opportunities at the national and state level. Earners will attend the required didactic and experiential learning sessions which include pre-session readings and participating in discussion and activities; complete the Clifton Strengths Assessment, Leadership Competency Scorecard, and SWOT analysis; engage in reflective response writing after each meeting to integrate and apply learned concepts to one’s own experiences and practice of leadership; collaborate on an interprofessional team to develop a strategic project proposal that meets the needs of the institution.
