
Employing Foreign Nationals – Advanced Topics
Rutgers Global – International Faculty and Scholar Services (IFSS) offers a virtual Employing Foreign Nationals – Advanced Topics workshop for departmental administrators at Rutgers. This session is designed as a workshop for administrators who have attended the other EFN Workshops (J-1, H-1B, and Permanent Residence) and are experienced with sponsoring foreign nationals. It will focus on current trends/changes, common issues, and other advanced topics regarding J-1, H-1B, and Permanent Residence sponsorship. This session is not intended for those who are new to the sponsorship process or who have not processed a visa request within the last few months.
Through workshop completion, participants will extend familiarity and competency on rules, requirements, and policies related to J-1 Exchange Visitor Sponsorship, H-1B Sponsorship, Permanent Residence (Green Card) Sponsorship based on US Federal Government Policy as well as internal Rutgers University Policy at an advanced level.
